The fine print, as plainly as we could write it.

Before Aangan accepts a paying booking they must be reviewed by Indian counsel competent in the IT Act 2000, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the DPDP Act 2023, the CGST Act, and Section 194-O of the Income Tax Act. Aangan uses a small number of cookies and similar storage. We try to use as few as possible. There are no advertising cookies on Aangan.

What we set

  • Session storage — your authentication token (hm_token) is stored in your browser so you don't have to log in on every page. Stored client-side only; we don't read it from the server.
  • Functional cookies — language preference, dismissed-banner flags.
  • Analytics (server-side) — we keep aggregate request logs (no third-party trackers). IP addresses are truncated within 24 hours.

What we don't set

  • No advertising cookies.
  • No third-party analytics SDKs (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) — we do not load them on Aangan.
  • No session-replay tools.

Controlling cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will log you out and clear preferences but Aangan will continue to work.
